Hotel meetings and one on one presentations
It does not matter what MLM company you are in, the hotel meetings and one on ones just don’t seem to cut it. Why is that?
People just act a certain way. The sooner you realize that the better and quicker you will succeed. It’s just funny, let me give you an example. When you were in school, do you remember when you wanted to go to prom and you had that one person, ( girl or guy ) chasing you around and asking you to go to prom? Only, that wasn’t the person you wanted to go with. You wanted the good looking popular person to go with you, and all they did was ignore you. By them ignoring you, you wanted to go 5 times as much to the prom with that particular person. I’m not saying to ignore them, but don’t bug them so much about your opportunity, just try and pique their interest.
Lets say your primary company is company X . Well, try this approach, ” Hey Suzy, If anyone ever asks you about company X, make sure and talk to me first. “. What you just did is planted a seed. Now Suzy will only say 1 of 2 things. She will either answer , ” O.K. ” or she will say, ” What is it? “. What I suggest is to tell her you don’t have a lot of time right now. People like to see that you are busy. Think about it, if you said okay, lets sit down right now for a one on one, you would seem desperate. Not good! If Suzy is interested, then you make an appointment with her. It is now easier to go to a hotel meeting or set up a one on one presentation with Suzy. Just remember, if somebody thinks that you need them more than they need you, it is not a very good way to start things out. Don’t shove your business down everyone’s throat so much. Just try different techniques and you will find your easiest way to promote your company to others.
